Its Official, Negatives Develops’ First Gig

    Well hello readers!

I would like to start off by saying that I always knew what the internet was capable of, and what can be found and seen over it. I got a message today from someone I went to High School with who has recently become engaged. I had posted in the last few days my newest editions to my photography collection and she saw them. Compliments on how my photography has come a long way suddenly snowballed into landing my first, sorry, our first official gig as photographers. She asked us to do her engagement pictures.

After humming and hawing over it for almost 30 minutes, weighing the pro’s and con’s we decided to accept. As we look at it, this will be a great experience for us to widen our knowledge of the art of photography while at the same time, doing a nice thing for a long time friend. We have mainly been landscape photographers so doing a job (portrait) like this will definitely be a challenge, but fun and exciting.

Stay tuned for the pictures to come.

Chernobyl Today: A Creepy Story told in Pictures | Village Of Joy →

I was watching an episode of Syfy’s Destination Truth earlier today. They visited Chernobyl and this reminded me of some pictures I saw a while back. A photographer travelled into the city of Pripyat and photographed. It just sends chills up my spine thinking about what happened there back in 1986, and how everything that was photographed was just frozen in time. If you are interested in seeing what the crew from Destination Truth uncovered there, check out season 3, episode 4, ‘the ghosts of chernobyl’

I think a photography class should be a requirement in all educational programs because it makes you see the world rather than just look at it. ~Author Unknown

Some of you might remember the little compilation I made on Numaga.com last year. It held the most crazy HD & super slowmotion footage of fighter pilots in training, using live ammo. All footage came from the IMAX documentary about fighter pilots
